1. Who we are
AMORAMA LTD is the controller responsible for personal information processed to provide Cles. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17088157.
For questions or requests about your information, email 97michelangelo@gmail.com. This policy covers the Cles iPhone app and this marketing website.
2. Information we use
- Account and profile information: your account identifier, sign-in information made available by your sign-in provider, email address where provided, username, display name, language, time zone, and optional profile photo.
- Goals and activity: your goal names, types, targets, icons, progress logs, timestamps, notes, and optional photos.
- Group interactions: group membership, invitations, group names and cover photos, shared goals and logs, replies, reactions, and collaboration tags.
- Optional Health information: supported records imported with permission, described below.
- Settings and technical information: notification preferences, push notification tokens, and technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as network request and error information.
- Support and safety information: messages you send us, reports, block records, and relevant content or metadata preserved when a report is made.
3. Apple Health is your choice
If you grant access, Cles can read workouts, steps, active energy, body weight, and available workout details such as duration, distance, and average heart rate. Cles does not write activity back to Apple Health in the current implementation.
Imported records are stored in Cles’s backend under your account so the app can display them and link them to logs. “Private” means they are not shared with other members by default; it does not mean the records exist only on your device.
When you choose to share an attached record, its type and date are included. Numerical measurements start private and can be selected individually. You choose the group and preview the log before posting. Apple Health import alone does not contribute progress to your goals.
You can refuse access or change permissions in your device’s Health settings. You can continue using manual logs. Revoking access does not automatically remove records already imported or copies already shared; contact us or use account deletion to request removal.
We rely on your consent to process optional Health information, including explicit consent where it is special-category data. You can withdraw consent at any time by turning off Health access and asking us to remove previously imported records. If you withdraw consent, you can still use Cles with manual logs.
4. Why we use information
We use account details, goals, logs, and group interactions to provide the service you request, including displaying your progress and sharing selected content with your groups. Our lawful basis is performance of our agreement with you. Account details necessary to create and operate an account are required to use the app; photos, notes, and a Health connection are optional.
We use limited technical, support, and safety information to maintain the service, resolve problems, prevent abuse, and respond to reports. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe and reliable service, balanced against your rights. Where processing is required by law, we rely on that legal obligation.
Optional Health access and notifications depend on your choices and permissions. Cles does not include an advertising system, and imported Health information is not used to target advertising. We do not use your Health records to make automated decisions about eligibility for employment, credit, or insurance.
6. Service providers and international processing
Cles uses Supabase for app authentication, database storage, and uploaded media. The app’s current hosted project is located in Seoul, South Korea. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, HealthKit permission controls, and push notification delivery. This website is hosted by Vercel.
Support sent by email is processed through our email provider. If you contact us on Instagram, Meta also processes that interaction under its own terms. These providers may process technical or support information in countries outside your country of residence.
Where data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an applicable adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, as appropriate to the transfer. Contact us to ask where your information is processed or to request information about the safeguards that apply.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your account information, goals, imported activity, and posts so you can use Cles. We retain that information while your account is active, until you delete the relevant information or your account. You can delete your own logs and request account deletion from You → Settings → Delete account. Group owners must transfer ownership or delete their groups first.
When you delete content or your account, we remove the relevant information from the active service through our deletion process. Some technical cleanup may take longer, including retrying a failed file deletion. Copies in restricted provider backups may remain until those backups expire or are overwritten; they are not used to keep deleted content available in the app.
Limited information may remain where necessary to resolve a safety report or dispute, protect the service, or meet a legal obligation. For example, safety-report evidence may remain after the related account or content is deleted; the reporter’s account reference is cleared on account deletion. Such information is restricted to the purpose for which it is retained. Copies saved by other people outside Cles are not removed by deleting your account.
We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the request and any related dispute. Safety evidence and technical logs are kept only as long as needed to investigate incidents, protect the service, or meet legal requirements. Retention depends on the nature of the issue, whether it is resolved, and any applicable legal requirement. Contact us if you want a particular record removed or need information about a deletion request.
8. Your choices and rights
You can choose whether to connect Apple Health, which measurements to share, which groups to join, and whether to allow notifications. You can edit your profile, remove your logs, block people, leave groups, and request account deletion.
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Email 97michelangelo@gmail.com to make a request. We may need information to verify you are the account holder. We will handle requests within applicable legal time limits, subject to any lawful exceptions.
You may complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. You can also contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
9. This website
This marketing website does not ask you to sign in or connect Apple Health. Its app previews use invented activity and AI-generated photos, not real member records. Interactive previews change only the page displayed in your browser; they do not create an app account or submit activity.
The site does not include advertising pixels or optional analytics scripts. Our hosting provider still receives technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, and requested pages, to deliver and protect the website. External links and email links take you to services with their own privacy practices.
10. Younger users
Cles is for people aged 15 and above in South Korea, and 13 and above elsewhere, subject to any higher minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from people below these limits. Where local law requires parental or guardian consent, that consent is required before a young person uses the relevant features. If you believe someone below the applicable age has created an account, or that required consent is missing, contact us. We will investigate and remove information where appropriate.
11. Changes and contact
This policy applies from the date shown above. We may update it as Cles develops or legal requirements change. We will communicate material changes before they take effect where required, and request additional consent separately when the law requires it.
